Peder was a rootless man who changes his direction in life several times. He started with farming school. Adventurous as he was he went to america as a young adult. He returned from america when his fathers inheritance / estate was distributed among the sons. With his share he bought a big farm Rimul Gaard in Trondheim, ha married a respectable swedish woman named Nikka and got 4 children with her. Then around 1915 he had to go back to America again, and Nikka stayed behind in Norway. Since then he visited Norway once and died in America 1934.
